Here are some of their opinions:
Typhus
The diagnosis by the first physician I was able to see, four months after the onset of the condition.
Ross River Fever
A month after the typhus diagnosis, another, supposedly more directly experienced, physician diagnosed Ross River
Fever and took a blood sample.
Rickettsiosis
A pathologist's report on a blood sample led a third physician to the diagnosis of Rickettsiosis.
Lyme Disease
A professor of infectious diseases in a major teaching hospital diagnosed Lyme Disease, which is his specialty.
Delusional Parasitosis
A professor of skin diseases in another teaching hospital made it very clear, without saying so, that he believes I am
deluded. He advised me to "...just forget all about it and the condition will go away."
That was about five years ago.
Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
Around twenty years ago, I spent a week playing poker at Lake Tahoe, the only time I have ever been near the Rocky Mountains.
Nonetheless, another professor came up with this diagnosis.
Brucellosis, Sypphlis, Rheumatic Fever
I have never had any symptoms of any of these conditions, yet three physicians came up with these diagnoses and ordered
pathology tests, which, of course, found negative results, costing me money and energy and time, none of which I can afford,
while stroking their egos, putting money in their pockets and in the pockets of the pathology labs.
