Glossary

Some of the terms used are everyday, some are conventional medical or scientific terminology, some have been invented by me due to a lack of any available suitable terms.

Vampira:

single-cell, beaked, bat-shapednon-sexual, fungoid/wormoid/insectoid/reptiloid parasite.

Diaboloa:

single-cell, blind, horn-headed, androgynous, beetleoid, parasite. Most diaboloas are slaves.

There is also a specialized sighted, four-winged caste of nymphs that may become queens.

And their winged suitors.

Mierdoa:

A sac/wormoid/fungoid vampira, containing encysted diaboloa embryos, vampira spores and stored diaboloa dung.

Muertoa:

The Triinity of Death, always composed of at least one diaboloa, one mierdoa and one vampira -- sometimes thousands.
